The archives of The Museum of Danish Resistance 1940-1945 may be used for study purposes by professionals as well as amateur researchers. As almost all the documents are in Danish the use of the archives as well as of its inventories requires the knowledge of Danish.

The Archives of The Museum of Danish Resistance 1940-1945 contain documents donated by private citizens - including former members of the Resistiance - as well as documents collected as a result of the museum's research activities. The collections do thus not repesent a comprehensive archive covering all resistance groups or all members of the Resistance. Such an archive does in fact not exist.
The archives of Danish authorities (such as ministeries or the police) as well as German documents related to Denmark during occupation are being kept by the Danish State Archives.
It is recommended that first time visitors book an appointment for introduction to the inventories etc. either by phone +45-3347 3927 or e-mail
In order to gain access to the documents you need to fill in and sign a user agreement.
